Ringfeder Disc Packs TND

The FEM-optimized disc packs serve as the defining and functional core of RINGFEDER Steel Disc Couplings. The packs are comprised of multiple circular single discs of the same thickness made of corrosion resistant spring steel. It also known as "đĩa thép giảm chấn TND".

The torque transmission capacity is determined by the bolt circle, the number of screwing points, and the width of the disc packs, while the ability to compensate for shaft misalignments depends on the distance between the disc packs and the thickness of the individual discs. Based on their preferences and specific application requirements, customers can select from two different disc pack types depending on the coupling size:

- The type HD (High Deflection) features thin individual discs, offering enhanced compensation capability for occurring shaft misalignment. Suitable for coupling sizes up to 169mm, this type allows continuous operation with angular misalignment up to 1 degree.

- The type HT (High Torque) is designed for applications requiring higher torque transmission capacity. By virtue of thicker single discs, the torque capacity is increased by up to 30% and a higher power density is hence obtained.

In addition, disc packs are usually connected with special high-strength screws. Depending on the joint size, hexagon socket screws or hexagon head screws are used. From size 47-141, hexagon socket screws are used for disc packs. From size 169-254, hexagon head screws are used. And especially, Hexagon Socket Screws with Special Nut are only used for size 262-316
