The elastic RINGFEDER® TNB buffers are crafted from butadiene-nitril-rubber (Pb82) or polyurethane (VkR, VkW). The black buffer (Pb82) is typically electrically conductive, preventing undesirable electrostatic charges. Conversely, the red (VkR) and white (VkW) buffers provide electrical insulation between connected machines, provided there are no other electrically conductive connections.

- The resilience of each elastomer material is indicated by its Shore hardness, which can indirectly determine the torque the coupling can transmit and its spring stiffness. For more details, please refer to the technical data sheet.
