Key Characteristics of the Tyre Couplings RLU

The RINGFEDER RLU tyre coupling is a torsion-soft, flexible shaft-to-shaft connection designed for industrial applications where damping of shocks, vibrations and mis‐alignments is required. It also known as "Khớp nối bánh xe RLU".

Ringfeder RLU Couplings have outstanding features:

- The split tyre profile is connected to a metal holder and is mounted radially on the hubs - this enables quick and easy assembly and disassembly without having to move adjacent machine components.

- The RLU coupling transmits the torque via shear in the flexible element and is ideal for compensating angular, parallel and axial misalignments.

- The polyurethane tyre offers high strength, durability and resistance to fatigue.

- The coupling can optionally be fitted with taper-lock bushes. Different hub arrangements enable variable shaft distances.

Tyre Couplings of the RINGFEDER^® RLU series are two main types:

- Type BWB: Standard design with straight bores and keyways, available with either Standard Hubs (BWB) or Reversed Hubs (RWR).
- Type BSB: Design with Spacer, available with either Standard Hubs (BSB) or Reversed Hubs (RSR).
