Why Choose Ringfeder Shock Absorbing Elements DEFORM plus?
DEFORM plus Shock Absorbing Elements are one-time use damping components designed for high energy absorption. They convert kinetic energy from an impact into deformation energy. These units boast high damping properties (up to 95%), low costs, small installation space, easy replacement of used elements, maintenance-free operation, no corrosion, and a rectangular force-travel diagram. Their versatility in design makes them suitable for various applications.
Each damping element is composed of a thick-walled cylinder made of high-quality thermoplastic resin. Upon impact, the cylinder folds or shrinks into a discus-shaped structure, effectively absorbing the impact energy and providing reliable protection for the system.
